The GOOD DESIGN® is the world’s most prestigious, recognized, and oldest Design Awards program organized annually by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in cooperation with the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies and Metropolitan Arts Press, Ltd.
GOOD DESIGN® celebrates another year of astonishing designs with an exhibition at The European Centre, 74 Mitropoleos str., Athens, Greece, featuring winning products and graphics from GOOD DESIGN 2022-2023 awards’ program.
The Awards' Ceremony celebrating The GOOD DESIGN® AWARDS will take place in front of the Acropolis on Friday, March 31, in Athens at National Museum of Contemporary Art Athens (EMST). RSVP is required for the Reception/Gala Dinner.
The GOOD DESIGN® trademark is internationally regarded as the mark of excellence, recognizing the most outstanding and renovating creations in the design world. Since 1950, more than 40,000 creations have been presented with the award for innovation, sustainability, creativity, branding, ecologically responsible design, materials, technology, graphic arts, packaging, and universal design. For over seven decades since its inception, The Chicago Athenaeum continues the organizing of the program to create a revived awareness about contemporary design.
From sky drones and new autonomous cars to everyday objects, entries for design and innovation, sustainability, creativity, branding, ecologically responsible design, human factors, materials, technology, graphic arts, packaging, The Good Design Show 2023 features a selection of projects that stand out for their iconic design.

Approximately 4,000 shortlisted entries were judged by independent and international jurors with the awards given to the designs with the highest design quality, innovation degree, and superior design. All the winning designs are also published in the Good Design Yearbook 2022-2023 (metropolitanartspress.com) edited by Christian Narkiewicz-Laine and is available in The European Centre's physical shop and online at MetropolitanArtsPress.com
The Good Design Show will be presented at The European Centre (74 Mitropoleos Str., Athens) until May 7, with free entrance for the public.
