We are excited to announce The City and The World Athens Symposium, scheduled to take place in September in Athens, Greece. The symposium will take place from Thursday, September 17, through Saturday, September 19, 2026, bringing together award-winning architects and distinguished professionals from the international architecture and design community.

IAA Winners’ Meet & GreetMeet the winners of the 2026 International Architecture Awards, presented and promoted by Global Design News.

Exhibitions opening: The City and the World
The exhibition will feature the winning projects and Honourable Mentions of the 2026 International Architecture Awards, together with an exhibition honouring the laureate of the 2026 European Prize for Architecture. Join and take part in the combined expositions that exhibit the best examples of international architecture and the most outstanding designs. The duration of exhibitions will be from September 18 to October 18 with free entrance for the public.

Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony The Ceremony will honour the recipients of the 2026 International Architecture Awards and the 2026 European Prize for Architecture and will include speeches by special guests.

The City and The World Athens Symposium.
Με χαρά ανακοινώνουμε την διοργάνωση του The City and The World Athens Symposium το οποίο θα πραγματοποιηθεί τον Σεπτέμβριο στην Αθήνα. Το συμπόσιο θα διεξαχθεί από την Πέμπτη 17 έως το Σάββατο 19 Σεπτεμβρίου 2026, φέρνοντας σε επαφή βραβευμένους αρχιτέκτονες και διακεκριμένους επαγγελματίες από τη διεθνή κοινότητα αρχιτεκτονικής και σχεδιασμού.

Εγκαίνια έκθεσης The City and The World
Η έκθεση θα παρουσιάσει τα βραβευμένα έργα και τις Εύφημες Μνείες των Διεθνών Βραβείων Αρχιτεκτονικής 2026, καθώς και μια έκθεση αφιερωμένη στον τιμώμενο νικητή του Ευρωπαϊκού Βραβείου Αρχιτεκτονικής για το 2026. Επισκεφθείτε τις συνδυασμένες εκθέσεις που αναδεικνύουν τα καλύτερα παραδείγματα διεθνούς αρχιτεκτονικής και τους πιο εξαιρετικούς σχεδιασμούς. Η διάρκεια των εκθέσεων θα είναι από 18 Σεπτεμβρίου έως 18 Οκτωβρίου με ελεύθερη είσοδο για το κοινό.

Η Τελετή θα τιμήσει τους αποδέκτες των Διεθνών Βραβείων Αρχιτεκτονικής 2026 και του Ευρωπαϊκού Βραβείου Αρχιτεκτονικής 2026 και θα περιλαμβάνει ομιλίες από εκλεκτούς προσκεκλημένους από τον χώρο της αρχιτεκτονικής.
